Description
Sella is an agricultural town which has suffered from the urban and touristic development on the coast. This typical town is nearly hanging on a hill, between the gulllies of l’Arc and Tagarina, with steep and narrow streets sue due its situation in the skirts of the Sierra Aitana, and crowned by the Hermitage of Santa Barbara. The town culminates in what was the ancient castle of the village. It is a place that offers rural hostels.

Fiestas
At the beginning of December there is a Romeria and fiestas in honour of Santa Barbara. The first week of October is in honour of the Divine Aurora, religious acts, rosarios of Aurora, singing.
Monuments
Archaeological Roman remains. The ruins of an Arab castle. Parroquial church (XVI century) of Santa Ana with a splendid belltower.

Excursions
It situation permits attractive excursions. Font de L’Alcntara & Font de L’Arc there is a refuge. Peñón Divino. Barranc de Tagarina. A camping area with a capacityfor 70 people in Fuente Major, which is beside a small and transparent lake. At one kilometre, next to the River Sells, is the Font de L’Alfafara which conserves an old mill.
Sports
The hill walking routes are apt for all tastes, it is also possible to come across the occasional wild boar. Cycling. Mountain climbing school. Parapenting. El Barranc de l’Arc is considered one of the best zones to climb in winter, and it is not unusual to see the climbers hanging over spectacular precipices.
